Course Description
The 3-year, full-time B.Voc. in Cardiac Technology programme is organized
into 6 semesters. Cardiac Technology is a medical allied course. The course is made to
help doctors during cardiac
operations. Cardiovascular technicians are employed in a range of settings, such as the
coronary care unit (CCU),
where they provide specialized care for patients experiencing heart attacks, unstable
angina, and other cardiac
disorders that call for ongoing observation and management.
A technician's role is to carry out pre-and post-procedure tasks that require less
medical training so that doctors can
concentrate on the test's outcomes. The CCT technicians are specialized to perform the
cardiac procedure, use and
maintain medical equipment, and test the patient for any worries

Progression will be possible in both academic as well as professional area as:
Level 5- Team Leader/ Supervisor – Cath Lab Department
or
Level 5: Specialization in advanced cardio graphic & Cath lab procedures through bridge
course
